EDCTC’s Title VI Policy Statement

In compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the El Dorado County Transportation Commission (EDCTC) is committed to ensuring that no person is excluded from participation in, denied benefits of, or otherwise subjected to discrimination under any of its programs, projects, activities, or services on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, disability, sexual orientation, and/or age. All persons, regardless of their citizenship, are covered under this regulation. This policy applies to all operations of EDCTC, including to its consultants, contractors, subcontractors, subrecipients, and anyone who acts on behalf of EDCTC and receives federal financial assistance through EDCTC for operations, planning, environmental review, purchasing equipment and/or property, or other projects and programs.

If you or anyone you know has felt discriminated against by EDCTC’s programs, action, staff, or other processes, you may file a Title VI complaint directly with EDCTC via the Title VI Complaint form provided on this webpage. A complainant may also file a Title VI complaint directly with the California Department of Transportation or with the Federal Highway Administration.
